Join Luxembourg Pride!
Under the responsibility of the Board of Directors of Luxembourg Pride asbl, you will ensure the operational coordination of the association and the development of its event programming.
Your main mission is to organise the two flagship events of the association – the Luxembourg Pride and the Queer Art Festival – while developing a programme of community events throughout the year. The aim is to enhance the visibility of LGBTQIA+ individuals, to promote exchanges within the community, and to raise public awareness of issues of equality, diversity, and inclusion.
Your missions
Event management
- Ensure the overall coordination of Luxembourg Pride and the Queer Art Festival.
- Plan, organise, and follow up on these events, from their conception to their execution.
- Develop and coordinate cultural and community events throughout the year (conferences, screenings, exhibitions, parties, meetings, workshops, etc.).
- Coordinate artists, speakers, partners, suppliers, and service providers.
- Supervise the logistics of the events and ensure compliance with regulatory obligations.
Volunteer coordination
- Recruit, welcome, train, and support volunteers.
- Organise and coordinate teams during events.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive and respectful work environment. Communication and development
- Collaborate with the communication teams to promote the activities of the association.
- Participate in the development of new projects that meet the needs of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Administrative management
- Ensure the daily administrative follow-up of the association in connection with the fiduciary.
- Support the president, the treasurer and the Board of Directors in administrative and financial follow-up.
- Participate in the preparation of grant applications, the follow-up of contracts, agreements and insurances, and ensure compliance with administrative obligations.
Partnership development
- Develop and maintain relationships with municipalities, ministries, institutions, associations, private partners, sponsors and patrons.
- Represent Luxembourg Pride at meetings, demonstrations and events.
- Identify new opportunities for collaboration and funding.
Profile sought
You ideally have
- Excellent command of English and French and/or German
- Knowledge of Luxembourgish is an asset.
- Good command of Microsoft 365 tools and collaborative digital tools.
- Driving licence B, personal car
- The position requires some flexibility, particularly in the evenings and on weekends, depending on the events organised by Luxembourg Pride asbl.
