About the Rainbow Center

The Rainbow Center aims to be a cultural and community space for the queer community, offering a variety of activities: exhibitions, round tables, concerts, screenings, workshops, training courses and much more.

At the same time, the centre serves as a point of contact for anyone seeking information, support or simply wishing to discuss queer life in Luxembourg.

Its aim is to offer the queer community in Luxembourg a safe, inclusive and vibrant space, while increasing its visibility in society.

The Rainbow Center is a project run by Rosa Lëtzebuerg asbl, supported by the Ministry for Gender Equality and Diversity.

Community events

The Rainbow Center, in collaboration with Rosa Lëtzebuerg and various community partners, organises a wide range of events – from conferences to game nights to parties. In short, it is a welcoming space where the queer community can connect, gather, and share beautiful moments.

Whether you are an individual or a group, you can also organise your own projects related to the community within the Rainbow Center. Whether it is a workshop, a meeting, or a creative activity, the team is here to support you and lend a helping hand with pleasure. Do not hesitate to contact us to discuss!

The exhibitions

The main hall of the Rainbow Center regularly hosts exhibitions of emerging queer artists. Every three months, we launch a new exhibition with a public opening in the presence of the artist.

As with all activities and services of the Rainbow Center, entry is free. The exhibitions can be visited during the Centre's opening hours.

Then, There & Them

The Rainbow Center Luxembourg is pleased to invite you to the exhibition Then, There & Them, presented as part of the Pride celebrations in Luxembourg.

The project is the outcome of six months of collaborative artistic research facilitated by Spanish artist and performer Leire de Meer, currently artist-in-residence at the Rainbow Center.

Through shared research, conversations, artistic experimentation, and collective making, participants explored queerness as a practice of imagining, creating, and inhabiting the world differently.

Presented as a living archive, the exhibition brings together texts, photographs, notes, sketches, references, and artistic experiments, inviting visitors to discover the collective process behind the work. Rather than presenting fixed conclusions, it offers a space for dialogue, reflection, and multiple ways of engaging with queer artistic practice.

The space

The Rainbow Center’s main room covers 50m². In its everyday setup, it features a comfortable lounge area with sofas and a small number of tables, creating a welcoming atmosphere. For events, additional tables and chairs can be arranged, providing seating for approximately 25 people.

A sound system with microphones, a projector, a flipchart, and a digital whiteboard are available for use during events.

At the rear of the Rainbow Center, there is a meeting room with seating for up to 10 people and a screen for video conferencing. A kitchen is also available for refreshments and catering.
