Aunt Tom is the 2nd fictional character, which Tom has invented to make the world a little bit more beautiful. This figure is not so easy to squeeze into a gender-specific drawer and reacts to “him” as well as to “her”. The children immediately understand what is going on and take Tanta Tom exactly as she is. And that’s exactly why they have so much fun when He or She tells them stories. Stories from fairy-tale places or even stories from, oh let’s call it parallel universes.
